Butler West Stake Relief Society Activity

Saturday, May 2 nd 9-11am, Stake Center

Women need to gather and talk and share and learn together! Come join us on Saturday, May 2 nd at

9am at the Stake Center. We will have good food, a service opportunity, and fun breakout classes!

Come for all or come for some!

Food (9-9:30am):

Come enjoy a fun breakfast starting at 9am. Visit with friends and meet new sisters.

Service (throughout the event):

We will be creating and decorating “You Are Loved” cards for the Rose Garden Humanitarian

Foundation to use in their service efforts to comfort those in need. We have all the materials ready –

come add your personal touch!

Breakout Classes (choose 2 to attend, 9:30-11am):

Prepare for Dinner – How many times do we ask ourselves the dreaded question, “What’s for

dinner”? Come and let Marsh Meier of Meier’s Meats solve that problem for you! He will teach us

how to buy the right cut of meat, how to prepare and cook it to perfection, and provide fun recipes

to try.

Prepare for Disasters – Have you felt those little earthquakes recently, ladies? That’s our sign to

make sure we have our 72-hour kits put together. And, this isn’t your mom’s 72-hour kit! Diane

Glenn is a former member of the Whitmore Ward and will teach us how to be prepared!

Prepare to Simplify – Life is crazy! And it’s just getting crazier. Come learn what we can do to keep

our homes, our routines, and our schedules manageable and stress free. Elder Perry taught, “In our

search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives.”

Let’s do it! This class will be taught by Andrea Gunnell.
